
Quick ciabatta
Description

Prepare all the ingredients.

Dissolve the yeast in water.

Add flour and salt.

Knead a soft, slightly sticky dough. Gather the dough into a ball, dust it all over with flour, cover the bowl with a towel and place it in a warm spot for about an hour.

The dough should increase in size to about twice its original.

Dust the table with flour and place the dough on it. Carefully, without kneading, fold the edges of the dough like an envelope – top to the center, bottom, right and left. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Cover the piece with a clean towel and let it rest for about 30‑40 minutes.

Bake in a preheated 240-degree oven for about 30 minutes. Be sure to place a container of water in the oven. The quick ciabatta is ready.
