Sandwiches with Sausage and Cheese

A tasty appetizer for any gathering. In this recipe, I will tell you how to make it. It can be served warm or chilled.

First, I'd like to suggest making the simplest but very tasty sandwiches with smoked sausage and cream cheese. These sandwiches are perfect not only for a delicious, filling snack but also for any festive table. I use gray bread with seeds, but you can use any other kind you like. Choose whichever sausage you prefer—I use sliced salami.

Spread cream cheese on the bread.

On top, cover the cheese with a lettuce leaf. Rinse the lettuce beforehand and pat dry.

Place the sliced smoked sausage on the salad. The sandwiches are ready.

Next we'll make very tasty sandwiches with boiled sausage and processed cheese. I'm using sliced cheese with mushrooms, but you can substitute any other kind. The sausage is up to you.

Slice the sausage into rounds, then cut each round in half. Fry in a preheated skillet with oil on both sides. Set aside on a plate for now.

Spread mayonnaise on the loaf. If you don't eat mayonnaise, you can leave it out entirely.

Place the processed cheese on top; I folded mine in half. If your cheese comes in a jar, simply spread it with a spoon. You can substitute processed cheese with cream cheese or any hard cheese.

Place the warm sausage on the cheese as well.

Garnish with herbs. I sprinkled them with green onion. The sandwiches are ready.

Kids will love them, and many adults won't turn them down either. Use any cheese that melts well. I'm using boiled sausage, but you can use ham, wieners, or any other kind you like.
