Sandwiches for a Festive Table
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. You can make them with white or black bread, with toast or croutons, with a French baguette or a slice of Borodinsky bread crust. It's best to make the sandwiches right before serving, as they can dry out or become stale. People make sandwiches for road trips, picnics, work, or for kids to take to school. And this version works well for a festive table. Serve the appetizer at the table.
