Asian-Style Turkey Burger
Description
Suitable for both special occasions and everyday meals. Burger buns can be bought ready-made at any supermarket or baked at home yourself. Turkey mince is best made yourself rather than bought from the store—they often add a lot of water to it, and then the patties refuse to fry properly and spread out across the pan. Use fresh meat and grind it through a meat grinder, and the patties will turn out beautiful and tasty. Good luck. Can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. Wash the cabbage thoroughly and let it drain. My turkey fillet is frozen, so I thawed it ahead of time. Let's get started!
- 2
Step 2

Cut a quarter of a medium head of napa cabbage into thin strips.
- 3
Step 3

Heat a tablespoon of sesame oil in a pan, add minced garlic, and fry for one minute. Add napa cabbage and sauté until it shows signs of browning. Then pour in soy sauce and braise for a couple of minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Finely dice the bell pepper and onion.
- 5
Step 5

Turn the turkey fillet into ground meat. Add a raw egg, onion, bell pepper, salt, ground black pepper, herbs (green onion), and sautéed napa cabbage. Mix the ground meat well.
- 6
Step 6

Shape the patties to the size of a burger bun (in diameter) and fry in sesame oil until cooked through on both sides.
- 7
Step 7

Cut the burger bun in half.
- 8
Step 8

Place a couple of leaves of any leafy greens and three tomato slices on the bun.
- 9
Step 9

Place the patty on the tomatoes. Mix the mayonnaise with wasabi (I use powder) and lemon juice. Spread the top of the bun with the resulting sauce.
- 10
Step 10

Cover with the top bun — and the burger is ready! I got 4 servings.
