Burfi
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Milk fudge Burfi (or Barfi) has been prepared in India since ancient times. Milk was reduced to a thick, dough-like paste, then unrefined cane sugar was added. However, modern Indian housewives prefer using dry milk, thus reducing the cooking time of this sweet. The thick mixture is spread onto a tray, various nuts are added, and it's left to set. Then it's cut into portion-sized pieces of any shape and served. Serve chilled.
