Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Thanks to saffron, it has a rich yellow color, making it look very appetizing. You can shape it into these traditional swirls or form it into other shapes, such as circles. Raisins are added only for decoration; if desired, you can mix them into the dough. The pastry is aromatic, delicious, and fluffy. The pastry is ready. Serve it at the table.

1. Pour milk into a saucepan, add a teaspoon of sugar and saffron.

2. Place the saucepan over heat and warm the milk, but do not bring it to a boil. Add the yeast to the milk and let it sit for 5–7 minutes.
