
Nut and raisin buns
Description
The recipe won't take much time. If you need a quick dessert for unexpected guests – this is exactly what you need. The pastry is ready. Serve it at the table.

1. Chop the pecans. Melt and cool the butter for the filling. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with butter. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter and 1/3 cup brown sugar. Evenly divide the butter mixture among the 12 muffin cups. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of chopped nuts into each cup.

2. Lightly flour the work surface. Unfold 1 sheet of puff pastry. Brush the entire sheet with melted butter. Leaving 2.5 cm borders on all sides, sprinkle the pastry sheet with 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1/4 cup pecans, and 1/4 cup raisins.

3. Starting from one end, tightly roll the dough into a log. Trim about 1 cm from the ends of the log and discard. Cut the log into 6 equal pieces, each about 3.5 cm wide.

4. Place each piece spiral-side up into 6 compartments of the pan. Repeat all steps with the second sheet of puff pastry to make a total of 12 buns. Bake the buns for 20 minutes, until golden brown and firm.

5. Let cool for 5 minutes, then place the buns on parchment paper (and allow to cool completely before serving).
