1. Prepare the filling. Mix all dry ingredients in a small bowl. Add the melted butter and stir with a fork until the mixture resembles wet sand. Set aside.

2. Prepare the dough. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Grease the baking pan with 1 tablespoon of melted butter. In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add buttermilk and 2 tablespoons of butter, stir to combine.

3. Place the dough on a floured work surface and knead until smooth. Roll the dough into a 20x30 cm rectangle.

4. Pour 2 tablespoons of ghee over the dough and evenly spread it with your fingers.

5. Evenly spread the sugar filling over the entire dough, leaving a 1 cm border around the edges. Starting from the long side, roll the dough into a log. Seal the edges. Place seam-side down on the work surface.

6. Cut into 8 pieces. Gently press each piece from the top, then place into the baking dish. Brush the buns with the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter.

8. To make the glaze, mix cream cheese or butter with sugar in a bowl. Add buttermilk and beat well until smooth. Let the rolls cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack. Pour the glaze over the rolls. Serve the rolls while they are still warm. Store the rolls in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
