Blackberry Buns
Description
For the buns to delight with their taste, the dough should be light, airy, and easy to work with. It is also important, when shaping, to carefully seal the edges of the buns. Then the berry juice will stay inside, which will give the pastry juiciness.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the required ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Lightly warm the butter.
- 3
Step 3

In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Then add the melted butter and sour cream. Stir.
- 5
Step 5

Add the flour and salt. Start kneading the dough with a spoon.
- 6
Step 6

As soon as the dough starts to come together into lumps, grease your hands with vegetable oil and knead it by hand.
- 7
Step 7

The finished dough should turn out soft, somewhat moist. It should hold its shape well. Shape it into a round. Grease the bowl with vegetable oil and place the dough in it. Cover with plastic wrap and leave for 1 hour in a warm, draft-free place.
- 8
Step 8

After the specified time, take out the dough. It should have increased in volume. Gently punch it down.
- 9
Step 9

Transfer the dough to a work surface. Roll it out to a thickness of 0.3 cm. Divide it into strips at least 5 cm wide.
- 10
Step 10

Place blackberries in the center of each strip. If your blackberries are frozen, do not thaw them; the main thing is that they separate into individual berries.
- 11
Step 11

Seal the edges of each strip.
- 12
Step 12

Twist the resulting rolls into a "snail" shape.
- 13
Step 13

Arrange the prepared pieces on a baking sheet greased with oil or lined with parchment paper. Leave for 15 minutes. Then brush with milk and sprinkle generously with sugar. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20–25 minutes. Allow for your oven’s characteristics.
- 14
Step 14

When the time is up, take the finished buns out of the oven. Transfer them to a serving dish, let them cool, and serve.
- 15
Step 15

Done. Serve to the table.
