
Rye-wheat buns
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. If you like, you can replace the flax seeds with sesame or caraway. I got 9 buns, 70 g each. Be sure to save the recipe “The Baking Is Ready.” Serve at the table.

Lay out all the ingredients on the table.

Pour warm water into a large bowl, add the yeast, sugar, and salt. Whisk everything until the yeast dissolves.

Pour vegetable oil into the yeast mixture and stir.

In a separate bowl, combine the wheat flour with the rye flour, mix, and sift this mixture into the bowl with the yeast mixture.

Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. If needed, add a little wheat flour to get the right dough consistency. Shape the finished dough into a ball in the bowl. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let rise for one hour.

After an hour, the dough had noticeably increased in volume.

Separate small pieces weighing about 70–80 grams from the total dough, roll each into a ball, place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush the surface of each with vegetable oil, and sprinkle lightly with flax seeds. Bake the buns in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20–25 minutes.
