Simple buns
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. These buns are made from simple, readily available ingredients that everyone has in their kitchen. They have a mildly sweet taste, so feel free to add more sugar if desired. Serve warm or chilled. Ideal with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Place all ingredients on the table before starting preparation.
- 2
Step 2

In a large bowl, pour warm water, add the yeast, sugar, and salt.
- 3
Step 3

Whisk these ingredients with a whisk until the yeast is completely dissolved.
- 4
Step 4

Sift the flour and add the vegetable oil. It's best to sift the flour in small portions: first mix it in with a spoon, then proceed to knead by hand.
- 5
Step 5

As a result, you should have a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. You might need slightly more or less flour than the amount indicated in the ingredients. Shape the dough into a ball in the bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise for 20 minutes, then punch it down.
- 6
Step 6

Leave it for one hour, after which the dough should noticeably increase in volume.
- 7
Step 7

Grease the work surface with vegetable oil, divide the dough into several equal parts (I have 8), roll each piece of dough into a ball.
- 8
Step 8

Place all the dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 15 minutes. Then brush each dough ball with beaten egg. Bake the buns in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

Serve the ready-made buns at the table.
- 10
Step 10

Remove from the oven and serve warm or cooled.
