Description
These buns are very easy to make. The dough, one could say, is a classic sweet yeast dough. The “Pâtissier” cream is also easy to prepare. Add chocolate if you like, it’s optional. Such buns will leave no one in your family indifferent.

Heat the milk to 35‑36 °C. Add the yeast and a tablespoon of sugar, stir. Let stand for 10‑15 minutes. After this time the yeast will activate and foam.

Melt the butter, let it cool slightly, and add it to the bowl with milk and yeast.

Add the salt and sifted flour.

Knead a soft, elastic dough and place it in a warm spot, covering it with plastic wrap.

In an hour to an hour and a half, the dough will rise and be ready for use.

Well, while the dough is rising, prepare the pastry cream. Place the yolks in a bowl.

Add sugar and corn starch. Pour 2–3 tablespoons of cold milk.

Place a saucepan with milk on the stove, bring it to a boil and pour in the mixture of yolks, sugar, and starch. Continuously stir, bring the cream to a thickened consistency. Cool the cream.

Roll out the dough into a thin sheet.

Sprinkle with grated chocolate.

Roll the dough with the cream.

Slice the roll into pieces 3–4 cm wide.

Place the buns in a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Let them rest at room temperature for 25–30 minutes.
