
Breakfast rolls with egg and filling
Description
It pairs perfectly with tea and coffee. As a filling for the buns, you can also use cherry tomatoes, parsley, thyme, grated cheese, herb goat cheese, caramelized onions, pre‑cooked potatoes, spinach and artichoke sauce, ham, boiled sausage, bacon, onions, mushrooms, spinach, and feta cheese. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.

1. Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Using a serrated knife, cut off the top of each bun and scoop out the interior, leaving the sides of the buns untouched.

2. Using a brush, coat the inside of each bun with melted butter and season with salt and pepper.

3. Fill the buns with any fillings of your choice. Break an egg over them or just a single egg white, season with salt and pepper, and place the buns on a baking sheet.

4. Bake for 10‑12 minutes, then loosely cover the buns with foil and bake for another 20‑25 minutes, or until the egg is set.
