
Steamed buns
Description
To make steamed buns, knead yeast dough and let it rise. Then roll it out into a flat sheet, brush with melted butter, and cut into strips. Roll each strip into a swirl and place upright in a steamer. Let them rest for 15 minutes, then steam for 40 minutes. Brush the cooked buns with butter and serve. They can be served with tea or coffee.

Heat the milk, add salt, sugar, yeast, butter, and egg, stir, then gradually add the flour in parts. Knead the dough, cover, and let it rise for 20 minutes.

Then roll out the dough into a thin flatbread and brush it with melted butter.

Then cut the dough into strips about 3 cm wide. Then roll the strips into little rolls.

Grease the steamer rack with oil and place the dough rolls on it. Let stand for 15 minutes.
