Buns
Description
Tasty baked goods for the whole family. When kneading the dough, pay attention to adding flour. Follow the indicated amount, but add it in portions. Since flour varies in quality, you may need more or less. The dough should not be stiff. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Pour warm milk into a bowl, add the yeast, salt, sugar, and a beaten egg. Mix.
- 3
Step 3

Add the sifted flour in portions, kneading well each time. During the kneading process, add soft butter. Knead a soft and pliable dough.
- 4
Step 4

Transfer to a clean, dry bowl, cover with a towel, and place in a warm spot for 1.5 hours.
- 5
Step 5

After the time has elapsed, the dough will have risen. Perform a fold. Divide into 15 pieces. Shape each into a round ball.
- 6
Step 6

Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the pieces. Cover with a towel and let sit for 30 minutes on the table.
- 7
Step 7

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. Mix 50 g of soft butter with 2 Tbsp of sugar. Stir.
- 8
Step 8

Take a piece of cling film. Spread butter with sugar on it, shape it into a “sausage”. Wrap it. Put it in the freezer. By the time the batches are finished on the baking sheet, usually the butter mixture has already solidified.
- 9
Step 9

After 30 minutes, make an indentation in the dough pieces with your finger, down to the bottom of the dough. Remove the filling from the freezer and cut it according to the number of pieces, in my case 15. Place the butter and sugar pieces into the indentations.
- 10
Step 10

Mix the yolk and a teaspoon of sugar. Brush the resulting mixture onto the buns. Place them to bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 20 minutes. Adjust according to your oven!
- 11
Step 11

Remove the baked buns from the oven. Cool them on the baking sheet.
- 12
Step 12

Serve with tea.
