Buns like in kindergarten
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. A very successful recipe for rich and aromatic buns. You can make kindergarten-style buns not only for an afternoon snack; this pastry will also be a wonderful addition to morning tea, cocoa, or coffee. You can give them any shape or add raisins, and they will undoubtedly turn out even tastier.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Pour most of the flour into a bowl, add sugar (reserve a little to sprinkle on top of the buns), yeast, salt, and warm water.
- 3
Step 3

Stir and pour in the melted and slightly cooled butter.
- 4
Step 4

Mix everything again and, gradually adding the remaining flour in portions, knead a soft dough.
- 5
Step 5

Gather the dough into a ball, cover the bowl with a towel, and leave it in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours to proof. The dough should increase in volume by about 2 times.
- 6
Step 6

Remove the dough from the bowl and, on a work surface dusted with the remaining flour, divide it into equal parts. I divided it into 7 parts. Shape the dough into balls and place them in a baking dish greased with oil. Cover the buns with a clean towel and let them proof for 15–20 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Then brush each prepared dough ball with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Kindergarten-style buns are ready. Cool them on a wire rack and serve them to the table.
- 9
Step 9

Remove from the oven and serve warm or cooled.
