Buns made from flaky yeast dough
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. Here is a classic recipe for making sweet rolls from layered yeast dough. These little treats turn out incredibly sweet and delicious. Their small size makes them disappear quickly—especially with kids, though to be honest, adults can't resist them either. Good luck!
Instructions

Step 1

Dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Beat the eggs with sugar. Combine the egg and milk mixtures.
- 2
Step 2

Gradually add the sifted flour and knead the dough.
- 3
Step 3

Roll out the dough into a square sheet. Grate the frozen margarine over the top using a grater.

Step 4

Fold the dough into a rectangle. Roll out again into a sheet 2 cm thick. Repeat the dough process once more.
- 5
Step 5

Roll out the dough again into a thin layer and sprinkle with poppy seeds and sugar (to taste).
- 6
Step 6

Roll the dough into a tight log and cut it into portioned pieces. Place the future buns onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let them rest in a warm place for 2 hours.

Step 7

Brush the top of each bun with beaten egg. Bake the buns in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
