Buns made from pancake batter
Description
These buns are very popular in the States, where they're called popovers—because they literally pop out of the molds. The batter is indeed similar to pancake batter, very simple and light, and the buns themselves bake quickly. To make buns from pancake batter, you don't necessarily need to add baking soda or baking powder—the buns will rise on their own. It's best to bake them in popover molds—they're narrower and deeper—but muffin tins work well too. Serve them with tea or coffee.
