
Buns without yeast
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. Even a beginner in cooking can make these yeast-free buns. This is a very simple recipe, wonderful because it's open to experimentation. The filling for these buns can be absolutely anything—from fruits and berries to poppy seeds and nuts. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1. The recipe for making yeast-free buns is indeed very simple. First, mix melted butter with sugar. Sift the flour and combine it with salt and baking powder. Gradually add the flour to the butter, mixing thoroughly. Then pour in the kefir and mix. The dough should turn out soft, elastic, and lump-free.

2. Place the ready dough onto a floured surface. Roll out the dough into a thin layer using a rolling pin or a bottle.

3. When the dough is rolled out, you can proceed to the filling. To prepare it, mix cinnamon and sugar in a separate container.

4. The dough surface should be brushed with melted butter and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. You can use absolutely any filling here.

5. It's time to shape the buns. Gently roll the dough into a log, pressing slightly to ensure the buns aren't hollow inside. Then carefully cut into portion-sized pieces with a sharp knife. Place the buns on a baking sheet and put them into a preheated oven (220°C). After 12–15 minutes, the yeast-free buns will be ready.
