Instructions

Step 1

1. Mix the flour with the baking powder, add the eggs and salt.
- 2
Step 2

2. Pour in the vegetable oil and milk.
- 3
Step 3

3. Mix with a spoon until smooth.
- 4
Step 4

4. Slice the sausage into thin rings. The diameter of the rings should be smaller than the diameter of the molds, this is important!
- 5
Step 5

5. Divide the dough in half, and place one half into 8-10 molds. Arrange salami slices on top, gently pressing them into the dough. This time, my salami slices were exactly the same size as the molds, which isn't very good.
- 6
Step 6

6. Then, spread the remaining dough on top, pressing it against the sausage. Use a spoon to spread the dough, as it is very soft.
- 7
Step 7

7. Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. After 10-15 minutes, when the items have risen, sprinkle them with grated cheese.
- 8
Step 8

8. Bake for another 25 minutes. Remove immediately from the pan to preserve the light crispy crust.
- 9
Step 9

9. These cute little bun-cakes turn out great. In the photo, you can see that in some places the dough didn't seal together properly, and the edge of the salami is peeking out. That's why the salami slices should be at least 1 cm smaller in diameter than the mold.
