Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. These buns can be made with poppy seeds, raisins and other dried fruits, or with cinnamon and sugar. You can use yeast dough, shortcrust pastry, or other types of dough. These buns can be made every day, for example, to take to school or work. Serve the pastry cooled, though it's very hard to wait until it cools down :) The pastry is ready. Serve it at the table.

Break the cookies into crumbs, place in a bowl, add softened butter (reserve a little), crack in the egg, and add flour.

Knead the dough (add more cookies if necessary) and roll it out to a thickness of about 5-6 millimeters. Brush with softened butter.

Mix the sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle the mixture over the prepared dough sheet, then roll it up into a log.

Wrap the roll in plastic wrap and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

After half an hour, take out the dough and cut it into 2-centimeter-thick pieces. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes, then remove the baking sheet and let the buns cool for 2 minutes. Then transfer them to a plate and leave for 15 minutes.

For the glaze: in a bowl, mix milk with powdered sugar. Pour the prepared glaze over the buns.
