Cottage cheese bun
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Of course, you can always buy a ready-made bun at the store, but that's not my case. I suggest finding out. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Into warm milk, add 1 tablespoon of sugar, yeast, and 3 tablespoons of flour. Mix until completely dissolved. Let the mixture sit in a warm place for half an hour.
- 2
Step 2

In another container, mix 2 eggs, 100 g of sugar, and 100 g of soft butter. Beat the ingredients into a foam.
- 3
Step 3

Now combine the starter from the first step with the egg mixture. Mix well. Also add vanilla sugar and salt.
- 4
Step 4

Sift 3 cups of flour into the mixture. Then knead the dough until it no longer sticks to your hands. Also add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Let the dough rest for 2 hours in a warm place, covered with a towel.
- 5
Step 5

While the dough is resting, prepare the filling. Pass the cottage cheese through a sieve. Add egg, half a cup of sugar, a little vanilla sugar, and mix everything well.
- 6
Step 6

Soak the raisins in hot water for half an hour, then drain and dry. Add them to the cottage cheese and mix.
- 7
Step 7

Place parchment paper on a baking sheet. Roll the risen dough into a rope and cut it into small pieces. Roll into balls, slightly flatten them, and place on the baking sheet.
- 8
Step 8

Use a glass to make indentations in each vatrushka, then place the filling in the center. Brush the dough with a mixture of beaten egg yolk and a tablespoon of milk. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the vatrushki for 25 minutes and serve while still warm.
