Bulgur with dried fruits
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Bulgur is a very original porridge that expands significantly—about three times—when cooked, so a small amount yields quite a lot. To prepare bulgur with dried fruits, first cook the bulgur. The cooking secret: melt butter (though you can use vegetable oil) in a deep saucepan and sauté the bulgur, allowing it to absorb the oil. Then add water (in a 1:2 ratio) and cook for 15–20 minutes until done. Serve the finished dish immediately.
