Pork roast in the microwave
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This fairly simple recipe for roast pork in the microwave can be supplemented with vegetables of choice and various spices, if desired. You can replace the adjika with tomato sauce, and use any other preferred meat instead of pork. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

1. First of all, peel the garlic and slice it thinly. Wash the carrot, peel it, and cut into strips.

Step 2

2. Mix the mustard with adjika and stir thoroughly. For the recipe of microwave-baked pork roast, it is better to use whole grain mustard, as it will give the meat a special piquancy.

Step 3

3. Wash the whole piece of pork, thoroughly dry it, and prick it with a knife. Insert carrot pieces into the resulting holes, alternating with garlic. Rub the meat all over with a mixture of salt and sugar. Place the pork into a glass dish.

Step 4

4. Distribute the remaining garlic over the surface of the meat. For extra flavor, place bay leaves on the bottom of the baking dish.
- 5
Step 5

5. Sprinkle with dried pepper and other spices to taste. If desired, add fresh or dried herb sprigs.

Step 6

6. Spread the previously prepared marinade made of mustard and adjika over the meat, coating it evenly on all sides. To make the pork roast in the microwave more aromatic and thoroughly infused with spices, it's best to let it sit this way for a couple of hours, or ideally, overnight.

Step 7

7. Once the meat has absorbed the marinade, cover the dish with a lid (it's essential!) and place it in the microwave. First, cook at maximum power for 20 minutes. Then carefully flip the meat and cook for another 20 minutes. If necessary, add a little water to the dish, especially if the meat is lean. This cooking time may be sufficient, but depending on the size of the meat piece, it might need to be extended. Check doneness by making a small cut into the meat. After cooking, let the meat rest under the lid for another 15–20 minutes, then carefully slice and serve.
