
Bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and basil
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. Bruschetta is a hot Italian appetizer consisting of wheat bread slices toasted in oil with a variety of toppings. Bruschetta can be served with tea for breakfast or with soup and various sauces. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

1. Cut the cherry tomatoes lengthwise. Finely chop the garlic.

2. In a small skillet, heat the olive oil over high heat. Add the garlic and stir, sautéing for about 1 minute, until golden brown.

3. Transfer the garlic to a bowl and let it cool slightly.

4. Add the tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, basil, salt, and pepper to a bowl. Mix, then add more basil or salt to taste if needed. Don't oversalt the salad! Cover with a lid and refrigerate for an hour or two if you have time.

5. Cut the baguette into diagonal slices.

6. Melt half of the butter in a large skillet and fry half of the bread until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with the other half of the butter and bread.
