Broccoli with cottage cheese
Description
Making a broccoli and cottage cheese casserole is pure pleasure. Broccoli florets are firm, yet become tender quite quickly when exposed to high temperatures. Some people prefer to boil vegetables first and then bake them. However, I believe it's best not to subject food to excessive heat treatment, as the nutritional value lies in preserving vitamins.
Instructions

Step 1

Take the cottage cheese and mash it with the eggs. Add flour, salt, and spices. It's better to use a higher-fat cottage cheese. Ideally, of course, make it yourself (or use homemade cottage cheese). Pour in the cream and mix until smooth.

Step 2

Rinse the broccoli. It's better to use fresh vegetables in unfrozen form. This way, there's a chance they were stored properly and not frozen multiple times. Separate the broccoli into florets.

Step 3

Wash the onion and parsley. Finely chop them. Also mince the garlic cloves. We'll use them too to add some piquancy to the dish. I'd like to point out that herbs can never harm a salty dish. So don't skimp on the vitamins for your body!

Step 4

Take a baking dish. Grease it with sunflower oil. Place broccoli on the bottom. Pour the mixture of cottage cheese, eggs, cream, and herbs over it. Season everything with salt and pepper to taste. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius.

Step 5

You'll know when it's time to take the broccoli out, even if you forget about the timing. The smell will let you know. The casserole should be covered with a delicious crust. Amazing aroma!
