Brownies (classic recipe)
Description
Homemade treats for tea. Essentially, brownies are something between a rich chocolate cake and a dry cookie. The perfect brownie has a crisp crust and a moist, chewy interior. Sounds delicious? Let's try making brownies the right way. Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

In a small bowl, crack 2 eggs. Add sugar (200 grams). Beat the eggs with sugar until the sugar dissolves. This can be done with a fork or a whisk.
- 2
Step 2

Do not beat the eggs vigorously. The degree of beating the eggs can rather be called mixing.

Step 3

Place a chocolate bar (100 grams with at least 70% cocoa content) into a bowl. Add 100 grams of butter. Melt the chocolate and butter over a double boiler until smooth. Do not overheat the chocolate, or it will separate.
- 4
Step 4

Add the egg mixture to the chocolate.
- 5
Step 5

Peel the walnut kernels.
- 6
Step 6

Using a blender, grind the nuts into fine crumbs. It is not necessary to process them to perfect uniformity. Some pieces may be larger.
- 7
Step 7

Add the ground nuts, 100 grams of sifted flour, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the mixture. Knead the dough.
- 8
Step 8

Line the baking pan with parchment paper. Place the dough in it and smooth it out. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees, bake the brownie in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.

Step 9

Remove the finished brownie from the pan. Peel off the parchment paper. Let the dessert cool completely. Melt 100 grams of chocolate. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the melted chocolate and mix well. Spread the chocolate glaze over the cooled brownie. Chill the entire dessert in the refrigerator for about an hour.
