Sugar-free brownies
Description
If the pumpkin is not sweet enough for you, add a small amount of natural sugar substitute. To improve the flavour, you can add nuts, dark chocolate, or citrus zest to the dough. Coconut oil can be replaced with any vegetable oil. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients you need to make brownies. Bake the peeled pumpkin flesh in the oven in advance and let it cool. You can do this ahead of time and freeze pumpkin purée for later. Use any flour you prefer, or use a blend.
- 2
Step 2

Transfer the pumpkin purée to a blender, add the coconut oil, zest, and eggs. Blend the mixture until smooth and uniform.
- 3
Step 3

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: rice flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and sift through a fine sieve.
- 4
Step 4

Combine the liquid ingredients of the dough with the dry mixture.
- 5
Step 5

Thoroughly mix the brownie batter ingredients so that the flour is fully moistened.
- 6
Step 6

You can add walnuts or pieces of chocolate to the dough to enhance the flavor.
- 7
Step 7

Line the baking tin with silicone-coated baking paper and transfer the chocolate dough into it. Level the surface with a spatula.
- 8
Step 8

Bake the brownies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

Let the brownie cool, cut it into serving-sized pieces, and enjoy the dessert during the active weight-loss phase.
