Wheat mash from sprouted wheat
Description
The key to the entire process is choosing good-quality wheat that hasn't undergone intensive chemical treatment; otherwise, your mash may simply turn sour at some stage. Therefore, choose high-quality grain from a trusted supplier, and everything else will go smoothly. During fermentation, it's best to let the beverage steep in a place that's not too hot, avoiding temperature fluctuations. The drink is ready to serve.

Step 1

1. In a bowl, pour sugar syrup over the wheat (take 200 grams of sugar dissolved in 1 liter of water), enough to cover the grains by 2-3 fingers above the surface. Let it steep, ferment, and sprout. Wait for three to four days.

Step 2

2. Add 1.3 kg of sugar and 6 liters of water, then place this mixture under an airlock. Stir periodically, and only after the tenth day, when the grains separate from the liquid, strain the beverage and distill this wash two or three times.

Step 3

3. That's it! All that's left is to pour the drink into convenient bottles. Now you know how to make not only mash, but also moonshine from it.
