Wheat mash from sprouted wheat
Description
The recipe won't take much time. 1. To make wheat mash from sprouted wheat at home, first prepare containers for germinating the grain. It's convenient to use wide trays so that the wheat layer in them does not exceed 2 centimeters. 2. Spread the grain in an even layer and pour water over it, just enough to cover the wheat slightly. 3. Leave it at an average temperature of about 20 degrees in a dark place for approximately 2–3 days. Stir the grain gently once or twice a day to prevent mold growth. 4. The wheat will begin to sprout, and you'll see small sprouts. If this hasn't happened by the third day, the conditions were incorrect and the raw material is unsuitable for use. 5. Ultimately, the sprouts should reach about 2 centimeters in length, after which you can carefully remove them from the water. 6. Now prepare a container for fermentation. Pour warm water into it and add sugar. Mix thoroughly until the sugar dissolves completely. 7. Add crumbled yeast and the sprouted grain to the water, making sure its temperature does not exceed 30 degrees. 8. This is a simple method for making mash from sprouted wheat. Leave the mixture in a warm place to ferment. 9. After fermentation, strain the finished mash before proceeding to distillation.
