Pancakes with caramel
Description
The pancakes turn out very soft and incredibly sweet. You can make the caramel not only from sugar but also from honey, for example. If desired, you can also add cinnamon or vanilla for flavor. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Pour half of the milk (slightly warmed beforehand) over the yeast. Add sugar (about 2 tablespoons) and a little flour. Mix thoroughly and leave in a warm place for about 15 minutes.

Step 2

2. Beat the eggs with half a cup of sugar until smooth. Pour into the sponge starter in a thin stream when bubbles appear. While continuously beating, add the sifted flour and make a thick dough. Then gradually pour in the milk in a thin stream, thinning the dough to the desired consistency.

Step 3

3. Add a pinch of salt and pour in vegetable oil (if desired, when making caramel pancakes, you can add butter). The batter is ready. Let it sit for about half an hour in a warm place.
- 4
Step 4

4. Heat a frying pan and, if desired, brush it lightly with oil. Pour a small amount of batter onto the pan.

Step 5

5. Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown. Afterwards, you can brush them with a small amount of butter.

Step 6

6. Combine the remaining sugar with the starch. Heat a separate skillet thoroughly and add the sugar there.

Step 7

7. When the sugar has completely dissolved, add a little warmed milk over low heat. Cook over low heat until it turns brown. That's it, homemade pancakes with caramel are ready to serve.
