Pancakes with beef and onion
Description
Delicious baking for the whole family. Pancakes are a universal dish. I always do it this way: I bake a whole mountain of pancakes, and then differentiate them according to taste preferences—making sweet filling for the kids and meat filling for my husband. So, pancakes with beef and onion are exactly this kind of hearty meat pancake variation. I got the recipe from some cookbook, though I don’t even remember which one anymore. In my husband’s opinion, it turned out very tasty. I’m happy to share the cooking recipe :) Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Peel each onion and cut it into 8 pieces. In a separate small bowl, make the dressing: mix honey and olive oil. Drizzle the dressing over the sliced onion.
- 2
Step 2

Each piece of onion should be evenly coated with the dressing - this is important.
- 3
Step 3

Place the onion in a baking dish and put it into an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the onion is soft.

Step 4

While the onions are in the oven, we work on the ground beef. Fry the ground beef for 2 minutes over high heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Then salt the meat, add cognac, and fry for another 4–5 minutes.

Step 5

Unfold the crepe, place a little minced filling and caramelized onion in the center. Lightly drizzle with lemon juice on top, add a bit of goat cheese, and fold the crepe.
