
Pancakes (simple water-based recipe)
Description
The pastry is easy and quick to prepare. These pancakes turn out incredibly delicate and thin. Serve them with jam, sour cream, or a filling of cottage cheese with raisins. Perfect for breakfast, they provide plenty of energy and are great with tea or coffee :) Serve cooled or slightly warm.

We start preparing water-based pancakes by breaking the eggs into a container and mixing them with sugar. Lightly beat everything together.

Now carefully pour in the first glass of boiling water and mix everything with a mixer.

Add the sifted flour and beat again with a mixer until the mixture becomes smooth and lump-free.

Pour in the remaining boiling water and add the baking soda, then mix everything again.

Add vegetable oil, beat with a mixer, and let the dough rest for 15–20 minutes.

We proceed to frying. Heat the pan, pour in the batter, and fry the pancakes on both sides until a golden crust forms.
