Lacy pancakes with kefir
Description
Tired of boring pancakes? Then I suggest having some fun in the kitchen and experimenting! To make lacy kefir pancakes, I use medium-fat kefir, plenty of it, so you can make lots of pancakes. You'll also need an empty water bottle, preferably with a sports cap—otherwise, the stream won't be thin enough. See the recipe with photos below. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Beat the eggs, add salt and sugar. Then add kefir and warm water, as well as baking soda, and beat everything until fluffy foam forms.
- 2
Step 2

Then add the flour and a little vegetable oil. Mix very thoroughly to avoid lumps.
- 3
Step 3

Now the most interesting part – frying the lace pancakes. Pour the batter into a bottle, then pour it onto a well-heated pan, creating a pattern.

Step 4

Make sure lumps don't clog the hole. Try to connect all the swirls together, otherwise the pancake will fall apart.

Step 5

Flip the pancakes with a spatula and fry on both sides until golden brown. And that's it—our lacy kefir pancakes are ready! Serve them hot, straight from the pan, with tea or coffee.
