Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

Step 2

Pour warm water into a bowl. Add dry yeast, stir well until completely dissolved.
- 3
Step 3

Add salt and sugar. Mix again.
- 4
Step 4

Gradually start adding wheat flour to the bowl.
- 5
Step 5

Whisk with a whisk. The batter should not be thick in consistency, so you may need less flour than indicated in the ingredients.
- 6
Step 6

At the end, pour in the vegetable oil and mix once again.
- 7
Step 7

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid. Let it sit for 40–50 minutes. During this time, the yeast will activate, the dough will rise, and bubbles will appear. Stir the dough thoroughly with a whisk until smooth.

Step 8

Heat the pan well over medium heat. Lightly grease with vegetable oil the first time; afterward, you can cook without oil if using a non-stick pan. Pour in enough batter to spread evenly in a thin layer across the pan's diameter. Cook until golden brown.

Step 9

Flip the pancake and cook for approximately the same amount of time.
