Honey pancake cake

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Pancakes are a universal base for all sorts of delicious treats, such as fish, caviar, various side dishes, salads, fillings, and much more. They pair wonderfully with both savory and sweet ingredients. As a savory dish, my favorite pancakes are definitely those with red caviar or fish. And in their sweet form, the pinnacle of pancake perfection is a pancake cake. The baking is done. Serve at the table.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

We prepare the standard pancake batter. To do this, beat the eggs with milk, sugar, and salt. It's better to use a mixer for this, as it makes the pancakes fluffier. Gradually add the flour through a sieve, continuing to beat. Pour in a few tablespoons of vegetable oil to prevent the pancakes from sticking to the pan.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Heat a frying pan or several pans (for speed). Pour a ladle of liquid pancake batter onto the hot pan, spreading it evenly across the entire surface. When bubbles appear and the edges begin to brown, flip the pancake to the other side.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Cover the finished pancakes with a towel to keep them soft. Now let's prepare the cream. Take out the blender. Put softened warm butter and sour cream into it. Beat until fluffy.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Then add the cottage cheese and honey. If the honey is liquid, it's better not to add sour cream, otherwise the cream will spread. Blend the cottage cheese with the butter-sour cream mixture and honey in a blender until smooth and homogeneous.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Place a cooled pancake on a plate. Spread it with the prepared cream. Then place another pancake on top and spread it with the cottage cheese-honey cream as well. Adjust the number of pancakes and amount of cream according to your preference.

The finished pancake cake can be sprinkled, if desired, with grated chocolate, cocoa, or coconut flakes. Put the cake in the refrigerator to let the cream set. Serve it cold with hot tea.
