Crepes with berry sauce
Description
The recipe will not take much time. Golden-brown pancakes are easy to take to work or school, on a trip or on a hike if you serve them with a delicious berry sauce. To make a thick sauce, add 1 tsp cornstarch or a little agar-agar while it cooks. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can replace milk of any fat content with kefir, but then you will need to add a little water and slightly more wheat flour.
- 2
Step 2

Rinse the berries and add them to a cauldron or saucepan together with the sugar. If the berries are frozen, do not rinse them. Place the container on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 3

Boil them for about 10 minutes from the moment they come to a boil, then mash thoroughly with a whisk or fork. There’s no need to puree them, especially berries with seeds (sea buckthorn)! Leave the sauce to cool while you fry the pancakes — it will thicken just in time!

Step 4

Whisk the chicken eggs with sugar and salt and milk of any fat content. Pour in the vegetable oil and fold in the top-grade wheat flour in portions. Let the pancake batter rest for 15 minutes so the gluten can develop.

Step 5

Heat a frying pan on the stove and grease it with vegetable oil the first time. Pour in some of the batter and rotate the pan in your hands to make a round pancake. Cook it for about a minute on each side.

Step 6

Bake the remaining pancakes in the same way. Arrange them on a plate and serve at the table with berry sauce.
