Thin pancakes made with milk
Description
The pancake batter should be as thick as liquid sour cream or very rich cream, but in any case, it should not be watery. It's also important what kind of pan you'll use for cooking them. Use a special pan dedicated solely to making pancakes. I'll explain and show you how. Serve with tea or coffee.

Step 1

To make thin milk pancakes, we need to take a few eggs. Crack them into a bowl. Add sugar, salt, and of course, baking powder. I use baking powder instead of baking soda, because these pancakes turn out very tender, and baking soda would be noticeable in such delicate pancakes. Beat the mixture until smooth.

Step 2

Add cold milk to the mixture. Beat well. Then sift and add flour to the batter. Knead a smooth dough with a consistency similar to thick sour cream. Pour in 3-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil and mix. Let the batter rest for 20 minutes before frying the pancakes.

Step 3

Before baking the pancakes, stir the batter once again. Portion the batter and pour it onto a preheated skillet to make one pancake. Fry the pancakes on both sides. I use about 2.5 tablespoons of batter for an 18 cm skillet.

Step 4

Place the pancakes on a plate and serve. The batter is very tender. Do not grease each pancake with butter. Under the heat of the next pancake, the pancakes in the stack will soften and become tender.
