
Valentine's Day Pancakes
Description
This recipe uses custard cream and pieces of milk chocolate. You can use any cream: sweet cottage cheese, chocolate, coffee, or whipped cream. For the pancakes with jam, choose a red-colored preserve, jam, or marmalade.

1. First, prepare the pastry cream: heat milk in a saucepan with a vanilla pod, split in half lengthwise. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks with sugar.

2. Add the sifted flour and mix until smooth.

3. Pour in the strained milk with vanilla, mix well with a whisk, and place the cream over low heat. Cook the cream over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens. This will take about 5–10 minutes. 4. Now prepare the pancake batter: in a bowl, mix the egg and sugar.

5. Add the milk, mix with a whisk, add the sifted flour, and mix.

6. Add sunflower oil, mix well. The pancake batter is ready.

7. Lightly grease the pan with oil and fry the pancakes. You should get 12 small pancakes in total.

8. Using a heart-shaped cutter, cut out the shapes.
