Liver pancakes
Description
This recipe won't take much time. It's a simple recipe for liver pancakes that you can use to make a cake, fill with stuffing, or simply serve with sour cream and a side dish, for example. 1. First, thoroughly wash the liver, removing all membranes and veins. 2. Pass the liver through a meat grinder. 3. Add eggs, a pinch of salt and pepper to the minced liver. Mix well. 4. Pour in milk and add a little flour. Carefully whisk until smooth, making sure no lumps form, then let the batter rest for 10–15 minutes. 5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and pour in a small amount of batter. It's best to make the pancakes not too thick. 6. Fry over medium heat on both sides until golden brown. 7. Let the liver pancakes cool at home, then, if desired, add filling. One option could be sautéed vegetables (onion, carrot, bell pepper) with boiled egg and rice, for example. Serve the pancakes with sour cream, mayonnaise, your favorite sauce, or any other filling. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
