
Kefir pancakes

Perfect for tea and coffee. Pancakes can be different: thick, thin, lacy, on batter, made with milk, boiling water, or, as in this case, pancakes made with kefir. Each type of pancake is wonderful in its own way. Here, I offer the most common recipe for preparing batter pancakes using kefir, which takes about 1.5 hours to prepare. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

1. The quantity of ingredients in this recipe is calculated for a fairly large number of pancakes (about 20). If you need to make fewer, reduce the quantities by exactly half. First, beat the eggs until fluffy.

3. Add sugar and flour, continue beating. Sugar can be beaten together with eggs.

4. The dough should have the consistency of thick sour cream. If you have time, let it rest for an hour; if not, continue with the next steps.

5. Dissolve the baking soda in two glasses of boiling water, mix well, and pour into the main dough.
