Cutlets in tomato sauce

Description

The recipe for meatballs in tomato sauce, in my opinion, is the best option for a family dinner. This dish turns out not only very tasty but also quite filling. Usually, one meatball is enough for me to feel full, although my husband can easily eat 2-3 at once. I'd also like to highlight the amazing sauce, which adds a vibrant flavor and keeps the meatballs juicy. By the way, it still tastes delicious even when reheated. So now I'll tell you how to make it.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

First, we start by boiling the beans, and then we prepare the filling. I usually take a piece of beef and pork and grind the meat through a meat grinder.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Place the pre-boiled white mushrooms, cooked beans, garlic, and onion into the blender jar and blend until smooth.

Now, in a deep bowl, combine the minced meat, the mixture prepared in the blender, egg, and breadcrumbs. Add spices and salt to taste. Thoroughly mix the meat mixture and let it stand for about 15 minutes so the breadcrumbs can soften slightly.

    Step 4

From the resulting mince, form small patties, coat them in semolina, and fry in a pan with vegetable oil until a golden brown crust forms.

    Step 5

Transfer the fried meatballs to a baking dish. Next, blend the sweet and hot peppers into a puree, place this mixture into a bowl, and add grated lemon zest, lime juice, tomato juice, salt, sugar, and spices to taste. Pour this sauce over the meatballs, then place them in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 25–30 minutes.

Place the finished dish with any side dish onto plates, pour the sauce over the meatballs, and serve. Enjoy your meal!
