
Cutlets with kissel
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The cutlets with kissel recipe with photos is an excellent option not only for breakfast or dessert, but also a great way to feed a child a tasty porridge. If desired, the base for the cutlets can include not only semolina, but also rice, millet, or even oatmeal (for a smoother texture, it can be blended beforehand). Serve hot.

1. To prepare cutlets with kissel, start with the porridge. Bring milk to a boil, then slowly pour in semolina (or any other) grain while constantly stirring. Add a pinch of salt and sugar to taste. Optionally, add a packet of vanilla sugar. Once the porridge thickens, remove from heat and let it cool thoroughly.

2. Meanwhile, you can prepare the kissel. Boil water, add berries and sugar to taste. Dilute starch in a small amount of water and gradually add it to the berries. Cook briefly until thickened. Then remove from heat and let the kissel cool down.

3. When the semolina porridge has cooled down, you can add an egg to it and mix thoroughly (you can use a blender).

4. Shape the resulting mixture into patties and coat them in flour (you can use breadcrumbs).

5. Melt butter in a skillet (you can also fry the cutlets with jelly at home using vegetable oil) and place the cutlets there.

6. Over medium heat, fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.

7. Place the cooked patties on a paper towel first to remove excess fat, then transfer them to a plate. Do not pour kisel (fruit jelly) over them before serving, so they remain crispy.
