Meat patties in sour cream sauce baked in the oven
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I think each of us has made meat patties in sour cream sauce in the oven at home at least once. After all, if you think about it, it's hard to find a more delicious and hearty dish that's also this easy and simple to prepare. The patties themselves turn out very tender and juicy, and the delicate, fragrant sauce makes their flavor even richer and more intense. Well, who could possibly resist such an amazing dish? Certainly not you—and you won't have to, because now I'll tell you how. Serve hot.

Step 1

We'll start by preparing the mince. First, pour milk over the bread (without crusts) and let it soak for 5 minutes. Next, pass the zucchini (or potato) through a meat grinder and transfer it to a bowl. Add the minced meat, squeezed bread, chopped onion, and egg. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste, then mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the mixture becomes uniform in consistency.

Step 2

Next, we shape the prepared minced meat into small balls (5-6 cm in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet greased with butter.

Step 3

For the sauce, melt 50 grams of butter in a saucepan and add sour cream. Separately, dissolve flour in a small amount of water, then mix this paste with the remaining water to obtain 250 ml of liquid. Gradually add the flour mixture to the saucepan, stirring constantly. When the mixture becomes smooth and lump-free, add dried dill and a little salt, and continue heating. As soon as the sauce begins to boil, turn off the heat, pour the sauce over the patties, place the baking dish in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F), and bake for 40 minutes.

Step 4

During these 40 minutes, while the patties are cooking, you can prepare the side dish and serve everything hot together. Enjoy your meal, everyone!
