Turkey cutlets with apple and cheese
Description
Oats of the "Extra" quick-cooking brand are perfect for adding to the minced meat. They don't require either scalding or grinding in a coffee grinder. Just rub them between your palms and add to the minced meat.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the turkey fillet into pieces and pass through a meat grinder or process in a food processor. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 2
Step 2

Add the apple to the meat mixture; you don't need to peel it—just remove the core and cut it into pieces. Rub the flakes in your palms and add them to the mixture. Process the mixture again in a food processor or pass it through a meat grinder. For a coarser texture, grate the apple. Finally, add the grated cheese and chopped dill to the mixture.

Step 3

With wet hands, shape small round patties. My apple was too juicy, so the mixture turned out a bit runny, but it's not a problem—just makes your hands messy.

Step 4

I don't coat in flour or fry in a pan, but bake the patties in the oven. Place the patties into a greased baking dish, smooth them out and press down from the top.

Step 5

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15–20 minutes, until golden brown and the juice runs clear when pierced. Let it rest without heat for about 5 minutes, then it's ready to serve!

Step 6

As a side dish, I served thin fried zucchini chips and grilled baked nectarines.
