Beef Patties
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. 1. First, wash and dry the meat. Then pass the beef through a meat grinder or chop into small pieces. 2. Peel the onion and dice finely. Add half of the onion to the minced meat. To make the beef patties juicy, you can add a little pork fat. 3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, add some meat spices, dried or fresh herbs. 4. Shape the mixture into patties. To make handling easier, wet your hands with cold water. 5. Coat the patties in breadcrumbs or flour and place them onto a well-heated frying pan. Fry the patties until they develop a crispy crust. 6. Sauté the remaining half of the onion in a small amount of oil. If desired, this simple beef patty recipe can be enhanced with mushrooms. In that case, fry them together with the onion. 7. Place the fried onion at the bottom of a saucepan or a pot with a thick base. Put the patties on top. 8. Pour broth over the patties and place the pot on the stove. If desired, add a bay leaf or a bit of tomato sauce. 9. Simmer the patties over medium heat for about 10–15 minutes. Serve the dish hot.
