Biscuit cake with condensed milk
Description
The baking is simple and quick. Set aside your prejudices and treat yourself to a truly delicious, sweet cake. The cream made of condensed milk and butter alone is incredibly caloric. Nevertheless, this cake has far more advantages than drawbacks (and are those really drawbacks anyway? ;) ). Feel free to prepare this sponge cake with condensed milk at home and enjoy. Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Beat the eggs and sugar into a fluffy mixture, sift in the flour and knead the dough.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour in the batter. Bake the sponge cake at 200 degrees. Check for doneness with a wooden skewer; if it comes out dry, the cake is ready! Let the baked sponge cool down, then cut it into 3 even square layers. Keep the trimmings—they will come in handy later.

Step 3

Let's prepare the cream. Beat the softened butter and add halva, condensed milk, vanilla, egg yolks, and powdered sugar. Beat the cream thoroughly until smooth and homogeneous.

Step 4

Spread the prepared cream between the cake layers and gently press them together with your hands. Cover the top of the cake with cream and sprinkle with crumbs from the leftover layers. Place the cake in the refrigerator to set for 2–3 hours. Decorate the finished cake with fresh berries.
