
Biscuit cake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The baked goods turn out soft and fluffy, making an excellent base for cakes, pastries, and desserts. The recipe is based on a traditional biscuit with the addition of pistachio flour; food coloring can be added optionally. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.

Grease the sides of a baking pan with butter, place a round of parchment paper on the bottom, and set the pan aside for now. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Break the eggs into the bowl of a mixer, add sugar, vanilla extract, and beat for at least 10 minutes, until the mixture becomes fluffy and light yellow in color.

Add the sifted flour in parts, alternating with pistachio flour. Gently mix with a spatula from the bottom up, add 1-2 drops of food coloring, and beat the batter until evenly colored for 2-3 seconds.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Check the doneness of the cake in the center with a toothpick: if it comes out clean, the cake is ready. Remove the cake from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Decorate the sponge cake with powdered sugar and chopped pistachios.
