Instructions

Step 1

For this recipe, you will need two sponge cake layers (prepare them using your favorite recipe or buy ready-made ones). Cut one of the sponge cakes into thin longitudinal slices and arrange them to form a sort of cake "foundation" shaped like a lying dog. Spread sour cream over the sponge cake layers.

Step 2

Take a large clean bowl and add the sour cream to it. Pour in a glass of sugar and mix well. Cut the remaining cake layers into cubes and add them to the sour cream cream. Mix and let the cake cubes absorb the sour cream. Peel the bananas and slice them into thin rounds.

Step 3

Now shape the soaked biscuit pieces into a dog. Arrange banana slices alternately with the biscuit cubes. The sour cream cream will help the cake hold its shape well, as it binds all the ingredients together perfectly.

Step 4

In a separate container, beat the butter, remaining sugar, condensed milk, and cocoa powder. Use the resulting mixture to coat the dog's "body." This will cover all the imperfections of the cake and create a smooth base.

Step 5

Place the remaining buttercream into a piping bag or syringe and use it to create the dog's "fur." If you don't have such special tools, use a regular plastic bag with one corner cut off. To make the dog's ears and tail a darker color, add a bit more cocoa to the cream. Use chocolate candies to make the dog's eyes and nose. Put the finished cake into the refrigerator for several hours to let the cream set.
