Almond and cranberry biscotti

Description

The recipe won't take much time. There's no need to limit yourself to just one type—you can combine several "fillings." Biscotti can be stored for several days. You can use dried or fresh cranberries, or substitute other berries instead. Almonds can also be replaced with other nuts. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.

    1. In one bowl, mix together flour, salt, and baking powder, and in another bowl, combine eggs, sugar, softened butter, vanilla extract, almond extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon zest.

    3. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ones until a dough forms. Add almonds and cranberries to the dough; the almonds can be slightly chopped.
